Unicredit StartLab, Assolombarda and the Lombardy Life Sciences Cluster organized a meeting of 8 startups, investors and pharmaceutical and biomedical industries in early July. The aim of the convention was to deepen the main trends in life sciences innovation and to promote open innovation processes and collaboration between startups and participating companies.

The Made in Italy 2020 is an event organized by iStarter, the Italian accelerator that helps new companies in our country to grow overseas.
It consists of an international tour that includes three stages: the first one has been in London in April, then the Made In Italy 2020 will move to Beijing in October, where over 100 international investors are expected, then in New York in January 2018. IStarter brought to London 10 Italian startups: apart from Eucardia, the other companies were all digital startups (Primo, ChatSim, Debut, Velasca, Viniexport, Worldz and BeMyEye). The event closed with a gala at the English Parliament: a further opportunity of networking for startups and Italian and foreign investors. |

In December 2016 the innovativeness and competitiveness of the Heart Damper allowed Eucardia to stand out among over 700 candidates and win the Gaetano Marzotto Award, the most coveted in Italy in the world of start-ups. Eucardia wanted to share the gratitude and satisfaction for this prime step in its path with members and friends and celebrated with them on the evening of 9th, February at Clubhouse Brera, in the heart of Milan. |
Filtered from over 1.000 emerging european companies and 500 pitches held throughout Europe Unlimited and TechTour’s 2016 calendar, Eucardia presented during the 10th edition of the European Venture Summit (EVS), which took place in Düsseldorf, on 5 & 6 December.
The EVS finds and evaluates and awards the most promising entrepreneurs in the high technology sector by providing access to top-level international partners, advisors and financiers. Eucardia, presented by the CEO, Marco Bottaro, was awarded as part of the Top 25 companies, identified by a jury of investors and industry representatives. |
Conceived in 2010 by Giannino Marzotto to help create an italian innovation platform, the Marzotto Award gives away a prize pool of over € 2 million, including cash prizes and flanking paths. Inspired by the figure of Gaetano Marzotto, the Award aims to offer a chance to new entrepreneurs and future builders who are able to bring together innovation, business and society, in a framework of open innovation and an increasing internationalization.
Eucardia enrolled at the Marzotto Award with the hope of winning the Award for Enterprise, “for the best innovative company with capacity to generate significant positive impact in the local social, cultural or environmental”. |
