Eucardia won the Marzotto Award!

Emerging among 700 startups, Eucardia won the Award for Enterprise, the most coveted prize of the Gaetano Marzotto Award: in Italy, the most important competition dedicated to startups. The Award for Enterprise consists of a grant of 300,000 Euros and a coaching course with CUOA.

Riccardo Illy, president of the jury, emphasized the revolutionary impact of the Heart Damper.
During the final, held in Rome at La Lanterna by Massimiliano Fuksas, he read the motivation that prompted the jury to reward Eucardia: «Despite being in the early stages of development, Eucardia presents a high level of ambition. Eucardia addresses the patients with heart failure, a pathological condition unfortunately already widespread and growing, enabling them to extend and improve the quality of life. The jury appreciated the innovativeness and competitiveness of the product, in a sector where alternative therapeutic options are still limited and inconclusive for most patients. They were also detected the team’s committment of quality and the appropriate level of patent protection at international level».

Above and on the right, Roberto Parravicini and Francesca Parravicini withdraw the award on behalf of the Eucardia team. With them, Matteo Marzotto, president of Progetto Marzotto; Riccardo Illy, president of the jury; Emil Abirascid, chairman of the Selection Committee, and Cristiano Seganfreddo, general manager of Progetto Marzotto.
